Death of Bin Laden
Osama Bin Laden is Dead 2011
Rumors of his Death will be confirmed by a Long Form Death Certificate… but what does it mean?
I am glad that Osama Bin Laden is dead. There, i admit it, now back to serious discussion as a patriot.
The news media said he took credit for it, but I never saw the supposed video where even a single translator says “I did it.” or even “We did it.” Its funny how many people never thought much about it, but i do remember thinking “there is a video”, like most people. The funniest thing is I have searched for years for the “video” where he says he did it! I have never seen a video with a proper translation even.
Even if he “took credit for it” without proof that he did so, our Justice system requires proof. Without evidence we could say that anyone said “they did it” and kill them without trial. I was in the Air Force, trust me when i say its easy to say “we know he did it”; its harder for us to imagine that the cia or black ops allowed it to happen, or that they even helped it to happen. With all the evidence of covert plots in history, its easier for me to question the official story more than believe that our talented heroes in the military could not shoot down the planes that were clearly on a suicide mission by the time they were near the cities.
In one famous video (cited in sources below), “Bin Laden” is talking in terms of dream prophesies and that 911 advanced their causes, and his causes, but im still looking for him even admitting it, as many people believe he did. Even if he did say “I did it”, many criminals take the credit for crimes they may or may not have done. In other words, you and i could sit around and say “we are glad about someone else killing someone” , but it doesnt mean we did it…
With no solid evidence to point to regarding exactly all the parties involved in planning and executing 911, no truth can be known or even claimed. The facts should not be kept as “Top Secret” when so many loved ones are at risk of being killed, or are killed. I was born in 1976, a Bi-centennial flag-waving baby. I was and have been extremely patriotic, even blindly and aggressively so. It is my ongoing quest for answers that led me to join the military, as my father did before me. Most people dont understand, ive been studying the details of 911 for years, beyond what mass media and those in power tell us. Im glad im not the only one i know that finds the whole experience disturbing… for years now. Yet it does seem he was an enemy of America, and did advocate killing us all, so i cant help but feel like celebrating anyway…
The FBI 10 Most Wanted did include Bin Laden, but said that he was wanted for other terrorist plots, not specifically 911 because they felt they did not have enough evidence. A prosecuting attorney on NPR said “we didn’t try to indict him for 911 because the charges already against him (bombing of the USS Cole, etc) were enough to get him the death penalty. So we felt it was a waste of time and resources to go through a grand jury process to also indict him for 911.” CIA case officer Baer said in 2008 “of course he’s dead”, and Prime Minister Bhutto said he was dead in 2007. So there was much confusion, and now some are eager to see the long form “death certificate”. I wish the mainstream media and government would cite their sources with follow up on this subject better! All i hear is “we know he did it” and “He said he did it in a video” none of which i have been able to verify with proof. It comes down to whether or not we trust our government, the cia, military, etc blindly.
Rational thought is not dead yet. As an Air Force veteran of the War on Terror, I believe more than ever now in the way of the peaceful warrior philosopher as responsible citizen. My sacrifice of serving, and experience earns me the right to question those in power, to make sure lives are not lost based on lies.
“Frankly the big surprise to me was that he was still alive at all. I’d figured he’d died anonymously early on and his continued existence was just a convenient fiction for both sides to continue the conflict, since he was never the point, …anyway. The American government needed a boogeyman and Al Qaeda needed a hero. While I don’t have much faith in this, I hope that his final removal from the equation will remove the reason to fight for at least some of the people on each side, so we can move on to more productive things than killing each other.” – Sima Ke
