Green Populism and Socialism in Politics

For Victorian pre-world-war historic context (1800s) please study the rise of Capitalism, Marxism, and the writings of Charles Dickens to understand the reactions to industrial pollution and corruption. Real conversation about terms like ‘socialism’ and ‘environmental’ are way over-due in our corporate media world, and they are scared the truth will affect their cold war industry. The truth is while military corporations benefit from new ‘Berlin Walls’ both physical and psychological to feed the war machine selling arms to all sides, the truth will also come out if Sanders is allowed to debate Trump, and they know that. The only way corporations will allow a debate involving a real progressive populist (not fake like Trump) is if the people push them to do it. it is true that the old generation of corporatists will use the term socialist that Bernie embraces, and communism against him, but for those of us that see through it we want to come out of the closet and fight. when working people can actually understand the terms and know who fights for them, i think that will be the change.

The best leaders reflect popular causes for peace and populations as a whole. Gandhi, MLK, Sanders,,, I voted for Jill Stein as a politician reflection environmental protesters. The main environmentalists in politics currently are Democratic Socialists (Social Democrats*) like Sanders, Gabbard, and AOC, they have taken up the Green Party progressive mantle with the Green New Deal and are serious because they fight the MIC corporate cronies. Personal habits which are part of micro-trends do affect systemic change when they reach critical popular mass and directly affect the laws we make the way we conduct business; but it is not just bottom up, because top down also happens like how federal laws arrest people for pot; so more people catch on to something popular when it is also legally supported, like recycling for example. The more government supports recycling, the more people would do it and the more businesses would help people to do it.

One of the hardest things is to explain main-stream corporate and popular propaganda to people who have a million other things to do; but that should be the job of an ‘honest politician’ (a term considered an oxymoron). People should actually know what cultural terms are affecting the World, like ‘progress’, and how their own lives are affected by who they allow to be in charge, either by their activism or by their apathy.

What most conventional corporate party members do not understand about new Progressive Populism, is that it includes people on both the left and the right; thus Trump’s lies resonated, and they said they would have voted for Sanders but not Hillary. Progressive populists are for the Green New Deal and Universal Health Care and against the elites of the DNC and RNC. Some Populists are more conservative, but they want jobs and health care so they will vote for the candidate that convinces them they will give them security. Economist Mark Blyth contributed to a conference where experts in several fields unanimously concluded that our political paradigm will shift left and right, back and forth, but increasingly more towards Progressive Populism (AOC Green New Deal) where if successful it will lock into a new political structure.

Essay on Ethical Bias In Reasoning

Personal Bias and Reasoning

We can have personal biases for and against various things, based on our conscious or subconscious emotional attitude towards personal involvement with associated issues. Having a bias does not mean our opinion or the facts we have about it are invalid, no matter how much the opposition might declare we are too biased to be taken seriously. In matters of voting we can recuse ourselves if want to admit that we are not impartial due to personal private involvement creating a prejudice (like in public offices). This essay is about the times when bias can be considered fair. Emotional involvement should actually be treated logically separate from the validity of arguments. I think most of the problems with logic have to do with what the terms are, and if people can agree on what the terms are; and the second problem is the values of the logic equations.

It may not be the fault of the product if they have been unethically created or used, and yet a poison is a poison; in bio-genetics issues of augments and mutants directly links ethics with science, much as money and art are connected in an unholy alliance.

Working for a company and having a particular maybe scientific mindset does have a type of bias. People involved with Healthcare have a bias towards voting for people that are going to say that they will support healthcare. Jews will be biased against Nazis, it does not mean that the biased prejudice is unjust.

We are all biased in some way, as our perspective is relative to our experience and subjective human mind-sets. Bias seems to be okay as long as we can recognize it, and admit to it so people can try to be more objectively fair towards more people, and disregard unwelcome emotions if they can. Emotion can be used as persuasion for some, but emotion can equally turn against the user when turning others off. A slave could be biased against slavery because they were abused and neglected. Despite their hateful bias they might be excused their mental prejudice; and we do not use their harsh attitude against slavery to discount the abolition movement.

So the issue of bias becomes whether the bias is clouding our judgment or not ; which is highly debatable. I don’t think that just having a bias should dismiss somebody from an argument; for example hiring a lawyer does not ban them from the court-room just because they are biased by their pay to act on behalf of their client. Is passion always irrational? Or are there cases where allowing emotion makes sense? So a bias on a particular subject could in fact actually help to bring facts to light involved with it in , and actually be the opposite of discounting the Merit of the argument.

We see Capt Kirk doing this for example when he says something like “I know its against the Prime Directive, but dammit im doing it because im human.” and Spock goes “highly illogical”. and of course later it would be argued that it is not illogical knowing that a human might care about specific emotional issues of ethics more than rules. It is logical that Kirk would save people he cares about, because he is prone to that biased reasoning that is not logical to people who value general ethical orders more than personal particular life-saving ethics.

Ending Abuse ASAP

The Art of Ending War Before It Begins

Law suits and physical fights are reasons why I avoid people that show they want to argue about ‘creative differences’ more than they want to ‘creatively collaborate’. I admit i still like the thrill of battle, but i just know how to win before it begins now. LOL Basically I will always communicate with a partner or client until they start getting nasty (meaning personal insults and not just logic of limits) it took years of practice with clients to understand how to avoid the blame game – and years of realizing it comes down to personality and behavior (psych eval). Offer what you can, and if you or they are not pleased enough over a period of time, realize the cycle of abuse before it goes further, and cut losses. If the fight cannot be avoided, it is preferable to get a seat in the audience. Abuse is the wrong kind of drama for a healthy relationship. Abuse is often determined by one side making demands that the other side views as hurtful or oppressive. However if it will not end, and you have a chance to end it before worse things happen, take it. Often we allow situations to escalate because of kindness, and kindness can get taken advantage of for better or worse.

Cut off all communications with those that are willing to hurt you, and get help to enforce the laws that protect our rights to do so. The more severe the behaviors (not talking about freedom of speech but actual business or physical moves), the more the need to sever contact ASAP (as soon as possible).

Friendship is like a bubble of the space between us; too much space and it stretches thin, too little space and pressure shrinks it.

For tips on how to creatively collaborate, rather than quit due to creative differences, read articles on child-like vs child-ish, cooperative creation, and respecting the imagination and limits of others. Make sure that all parties are aware of all the factors and levels of risk before getting too involved, or cutting losses becomes suicide. Within a cooperative you can have committees with leaders, so make sure you understand how project politics work by reading about what has worked in the past. Working partnerships are not less important than friendships, as the level of trust needed often transcends the normal daily challenges of friendship; and because the stakes are greater (even if symbolic of what might happen if there was more at stake), business can often show you who is a loyal friend and wants to support or cooperate with you and how willing they are to do so.

Utilitarian Debate Metaphor

This parable is about the interaction of two units, and their relationship. When trying to loosen a pipe and meeting resistance, I try to remember to try turning it another way; because if I am wrong about the direction I can break it (ive broken nuts and threads before). Debates are communication interactions between sides of an issue, regarding differences, advocating one over another for the sake of proving cases; this is similar to sex, plumbing, and carpentry.

The sexual connection between the male part (pipe or bolt) and its female fixture (linkup or nut) is a metaphor for discussions, besides being a useful plumbing or carpentry tip.  Cooperation being the proper function of tightening or loosening, between the two objects. Strongly stressing an issue or party in one direction may result in fractures. Sex is also naturally related to Life in general.
