a Christmas Story about a mass visit to the White House to create a Vacancy!!!

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the streets,

protesters were stirring for some fortuitous meets.

Grumpy Trumpy was up late scrooging in the White House.

Trump the Grump lived to strike terror and fear into hearts,

and to molest boys and girls on their vulnerable parts.

With his Trumpets and Grumpets he had an evil Tax Plan,

to defund the poor and take away their last pan.

He was rich, and the rich needed all;

they needed money for War,

Slavery, and cake for the next Ball.

Trump was so busy destroying every humane agency,

that he did not realize there was one big Vacancy!!

To him government was bad it was evil,

because it would make the rich serve all the people.

The White House is a palace for the Emperor is it?

Well Trump would be getting a Christmas visit.

The clock struck 3 am, as people began to gather ’round,

they kettled the secret service and flowed along the ground;

men and women and all people in between,

knocked on the windows with faces mean,

Trump the Grump peed his pants

and sent out Pence to do a dance.

Sick of fake news and the fact that they lied

the crowd made sure they were both crucified.

with a last gasp of evil, Trump the Grump died,

and they distributed his toys far and wide.

The Sun came up at the crack of Dawn,

and all the people partied upon the lawn.

Open Letter to the National Security Agency

“Dear NSA, I hope you are listening because I heard a really cool plan to kidnap a gaggle of corporate politicians. Someone said that the CIA had a plan to put bags over the heads of the all most ignorant trumpsters, throw them in a van, and take them to a secure secret location… you know the one. Then those idiots will be forced to watch nature documentaries for many days while being told they are loved by a Pagan Goddess. Finally after they are starving and broken, they will be released naked into the wild. I can’t tell you who I heard this conspiracy from, because then I would have to spank you (plus I cannot recall as Reagan and every politician says that is ever put on trial for war crimes). The FBI already threatened to blackmail and torture me, but they are just jealous of the CIA. Please try your hardest to monitor any communications about this plot, as I am very worried that someone’s feelings might be hurt. I suggest spending millions of dollars of taxes from the poor and middle-class, like you normally do. Love, Bright Bard”

Summary of Hindu Creation Mythology

The Hindu cosmological genesis story is perhaps the closest religious myth to modern scientific theory; because it seems to support Relativity, Causality, The Big Bang Cycle, Multiverses, and other complex and expansive theories. The four main Hindu scriptures are called the Holy Vedas. For this summary I will refer to the concept of Creation as Om (pronounced A-U-M for the Om Trinity: Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), and attempt to synthesize scriptures to minimize contradictions.

The Om Goddess helps the Om God to birth our Universe from the monistic Golden Egg Womb within his(?) belly, which causes the new God Brahma* to self-manifest out from the previous god’s naval. Brahma eventually seems to become the Om God Vishnu (or vice-versa), as their father role is both a protector and creator, when they are both named in the same role, for different creation stories. Brahma visits and rests on the transcendental waters of the multiverses, floating on a lotus, until he creates and the Golden Egg for rebirth. The cycle of universal recreation is about 4,000,000,000 years, after which that universe is destroyed by an apocalypse (pralaya) of fire or water. The Great Flood was the latest such pralaya. The period of rest in between universes is equal to the life of a universe. Then the Goddess and God release the next Brahma again; thus the cycle continues. – (Bhagavata Purana 6.16.37, 2.10.10 / Matsya Purāṇa 2.25-30 / Isvara Upanisad / Narayana Sukta) *Brahma is used here in place of Svayambhu, Isvara, or Narayana because there are many Brahmas, one for each universe.

God Vishnu rests in infinite Paradise (Paramdhama), laying on a serpent, and creates and preserves our Universe through his dreams. Vishnu has 10 material incarnations known as avatars (including Krishna & Buddha). Goddess Shiva destroys and transforms life and matter. Brahma is the grandfather of humans (children of Manu). There are thousands of other Hindu gods and goddess as well. Hindu Puranic scripture mentions that multiverses have seven layers. The seven universal layers are earth, water, fire, air, sky, energy, and false ego. The universes are unlimited; we are within them, and they are within us (microcosm/macrocosm, natural mathematical fractals, and atomic quantum theory).

The Rig Veda questions the origin of the universe. “Neither being nor non-being was as yet. What was concealed? And where? And in whose protection? …Who really knows? Who can declare it? Whence was it born, and whence came this creation? The devas were born later than this world’s creation, so who knows from where it came into existence? None can know from where creation has arisen, and whether he has or has not produced it. He who surveys it in the highest heavens, he alone knows-or perhaps does not know.” – (Rig Veda 10.129 dated 2,200–1,100 BC)

Journal of SCOD Member Tofu Lizard – Entry 05

The Medieval Pub was very much like the drawings on the website. Heavy timber-frame, with mixes of half-timber infill, scale-shingle siding, and masonry. Mostly earth colors. The Pub commanded a view of the whole site from atop the hill, as the road wound up to it. I introduced myself, and the people outside told me to go on in. Every visible structure and material was hand-crafted. The heavy wooden door creaked as I opened it and went inside. There was a tavern bar on the right, tables and more public rooms on the left, and a fireplace hearth straight ahead.

“How can I help you?” the Bar Keep asked.

“Hi, im new here. My name is Tofu Lizard.” I said.

“Ah well, met. I am Drogo.” he said.

Drogo offered me a free drink of water in a goblet, with a flagon beside it, should I want more. He said that he was the architect and owner, besides acting as bar keeper. Drogo said he mostly manages the property, and other people usually work there. He generously offered me a job working at the Pub and as a field hand. SCOD would not pay me, but in exchange I got to live there for free, provided I worked my shifts, and I could still get tips and extra money on the side, if I sold my own crafts there.

Tofu Lizard SCOD Journal Entry  2

I worked for a big commercial company, the name of which does not matter anymore. The last day I went in to work at my office job, I was already emotional from my recent divorce and loss of all intimate relationships. My boss came up to me and said “You are a terrible worker. You lied on your resume when you said you were a good worker.” Instead of attacking my boss in return, or defending myself, I just started crying. I cried not like a baby, but more like a wounded animal that had lost the will to live. Once I left work for the day, I took everything I owned with me, and never came back to that office. I purchased all the gear I thought I would need for my long summer journey on the Appalachian Trail (AT). I had read some parts of some books on the AT, taken some notes, made some lists, done some walking, so I felt as ready as I would ever be in my life. Now was the time for change in my life, and it happened. I did not own my apartment, so I just put my things into cheap storage, and paid my last month of rent before I started hiking.

The day I began hiking on the AT I simply left my car parked at a parking space near the Trail in North Carolina. It would be months before I was able to return and salvage the vehicle. Now I was headed north on my own two feet, with a walking stick and a heavy pack on my back. After a few days I had befriended other hikers, and began telling them some of my adventures so far on the Trail. Their favorite story of mine was the time I was cooking tofu on some hot rocks by the fire, and a lizard kept stealing pieces of my tofu! That is how I got my trail-name “Tofu Lizard”, which I still use today. I am not sure which was funnier; the fact that I had chosen to carry tofu in my pack, or the antics of the lizard.
